Burgundy & Feathers
I loved chatting through Debra’s wedding, she had lots of great ideas, to incorporate a natural feel to her wedding. She really loved the idea of including pieces of the countryside including Pheasants Tail feathers, which were ethically sourced by a lovely independent business, Flower Folly, where Fiona collects dropped feathers from her fowl. Debra said that apart from understanding what was needed, I also inspired their wedding scheme, where I nailed their vision.
Their wedding flowers also featured Eryngium, Teasel, Ivy, Miscanthus, Limonium, Scabiosa stellata, Brunia, as well as a few charming premium Roses including ‘Mondial’ and ‘Quicksand’ from Farm Direct and ‘Lady Killer’ from Perfume Flower Company.
Craig really loved the idea of not including flowers, so we created his buttonhole with a collection of natural foliage, guinea fowl feathers, Eryngium and Scabiosa stellata, which was then fully wrapped in a rustic twine to co-ordinate.
The wedding was held at reception was held at Falcon Manor Hotel, Settle. Photos were taken by Mick from Manchester
